Itinerary (9:00 AM - 5:00 PM)
Departure & Scenic Drive
Your Ourika Valley Day Trip begins with a pickup from your hotel at 9:00 AM. We drive south towards the Atlas Mountains, passing through olive groves and small hamlets. The landscape changes from arid plains to lush green valleys as we ascend.
Berber Village & Market
We stop at a traditional Berber village to visit an Argan oil cooperative run by local women. If traveling on a Monday or Friday, we will also visit a bustling weekly market (Souk) where locals from the mountains come to trade livestock and fresh produce.
Hiking the Waterfalls
Upon arrival in the village of Setti Fatma, you will meet your local mountain guide. Embark on a guided hike (approx. 1 hour) up the rocky trails to discover the series of seven waterfalls. Don't forget your camera for the stunning panoramic views!
Lunch & Return
After the hike, reward yourself with a traditional Moroccan lunch at one of the many restaurants lining the riverbank. You can enjoy a tagine while sitting on colorful rugs with the sound of the river flowing nearby. Relax before our return drive to Marrakech, arriving around 5:00 PM.
