Itinerary (8:00 AM - 7:00 PM)
Departure & Argan Cooperative
Start your Essaouira Day Trip with an 8:00 AM pickup from your Marrakech accommodation. Enjoy a scenic 2.5 to 3-hour drive through the Haouz plains. En route, we stop to see the famous "flying goats" climbing Argan trees and visit a traditional women's cooperative to see how Argan oil ("Liquid Gold") is made by hand.
Arrival & Medina Tour
Upon arrival in Essaouira (approx. 11:00 AM), meet your local guide (or explore independently if preferred). Enter the UNESCO-listed Medina, a maze of blue and white streets blending Moroccan and Portuguese architecture. Visit the Thuya wood workshops and vibrant art galleries.
Skala Ramparts & Seafood Lunch
Step back in time at the Skala de la Kasbah, a seafront fortification lined with antique brass cannons. Enjoy panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean. For lunch, head to the port or the fish market to choose freshly caught seafood grilled to perfection (lunch not included).
Beach & Return to Marrakech
Spend the afternoon relaxing on Essaouira's vast sandy beach, watching kite surfers, or taking a stroll along the promenade. Around 4:30 PM, we begin the return journey, arriving back in Marrakech around 7:00 PM to 7:30 PM with drop-off at your hotel.
