Detailed Itinerary
Marrakech – Ait Ben Haddou – Dades Valley
Your Tour From Marrakech 4 Days begins with a scenic drive across the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n'Tichka Pass. We stop for photos of Berber villages before reaching the UNESCO World Heritage site of Ait Benhaddou Kasbah. After a guided tour and lunch, we continue through Ouarzazate and the Skoura Oasis to the Valley of Roses. We arrive in the Dades Valley in the evening for dinner and an overnight stay in a traditional Riad.
Dades Valley – Todra Gorge – Merzouga
After breakfast, we drive to the spectacular Todra Gorge, where 300m high cliffs create a narrow canyon. We continue towards the Sahara, passing through Tinjdad and Erfoud. In the afternoon, we reach Merzouga. Here, you will mount your camels for a trek into the golden Erg Chebbi dunes to watch the sunset. The night is spent in a luxury desert camp with Berber music and dinner under the stars.
Merzouga – Alnif – Draa Valley – Ouarzazate
Wake up early for the sunrise. After breakfast, we take a different route back to explore more of the south. We travel through the desert landscapes of Rissani, Alnif, and Tazzarine. We then join the magnificent Draa Valley, Morocco’s longest river valley lined with millions of date palms. We cross the Anti-Atlas mountains to reach Ouarzazate, where you will spend the night in a hotel.
Ouarzazate – Atlas Studios – Marrakech
On the final day of your 4 Days Marrakech Desert Tours, we visit the famous Atlas Film Studios or the Kasbah Taourirt in Ouarzazate. We then begin our ascent back over the High Atlas Mountains. We arrive back in Marrakech in the afternoon, where your driver will drop you off at your hotel or Riad.
