Departure from Marrakech
Your Ouzoud Excursion From Marrakech begins with an 8:00 AM pickup from your hotel. Enjoy a comfortable 2.5 to 3-hour drive through the scenic landscapes of the Middle Atlas, passing through Berber villages and olive farms.
Arrival & Guided Hike
Upon arrival at Ouzoud village around 10:30 AM, meet your local guide. Begin a pleasant hike from the top of the falls down to the bottom. The path winds through shaded olive groves, offering various viewpoints to take stunning photos of the cascades.
Boat Ride & Lunch
At the base of the waterfall, you can take an optional short boat ride (approx. 20 MAD) to feel the mist of the powerful water. Afterward, enjoy free time for lunch. There are many charming restaurants with terraces offering delicious tagines and direct views of the waterfalls.
Monkeys & Return
In the afternoon, as we hike back up, keep your cameras ready for the friendly wild Barbary monkeys that live in the trees. You can feed them peanuts and take close-up photos. We depart Ouzoud around 4:30 PM and arrive back in Marrakech in the early evening.
