Fes – Ifrane – Cedar Forest – Merzouga
Start this Fes To Marrakech Desert Tours 3 Days early in the morning. We head south towards the Middle Atlas mountains. Our first stop is Ifrane, known as "Little Switzerland" for its alpine architecture. Next, we explore the Cedar Forest of Azrou, where you can see and feed the friendly Barbary monkeys. We continue through the dramatic Ziz Valley, a region known for its date palms and rugged beauty. In the afternoon, we reach the desert town of Merzouga. Here, a camel trek will take you into the stunning dunes of Erg Chebbi to watch the sunset. Enjoy a magical evening under the stars in a luxury desert camp with dinner and traditional drum music.
Merzouga – Todra Gorge – Dades Valley
Wake up early to witness the sunrise over the Sahara dunes. After breakfast and a shower at the camp, we depart for the Todra Gorge. These 300m high limestone cliffs are a paradise for climbers and offer a spectacular place to walk along the river. After lunch, we continue our journey along the "Road of a Thousand Kasbahs," passing ancient mud-brick villages. We arrive in the Dades Valley in the evening, where you will check into a comfortable hotel/riad for dinner and an overnight stay surrounded by towering rock formations.
Dades Valley – Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou – Marrakech
After breakfast, we travel through the Valley of Roses and the Skoura Oasis to reach Ouarzazate, the "Hollywood of Africa," known for its film studios. The highlight of the day is a visit to the UNESCO World Heritage site of Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, famous for movies like *Gladiator* and *Game of Thrones*. After exploring the historic ksar, we cross the High Atlas Mountains via the majestic Tizi n’Tichka Pass (2260m). We arrive in Marrakech in the late afternoon, where your driver will drop you off at your accommodation.
