Marrakech – Ait Ben Haddou – Dades Valley
Begin your 3 Days Desert Tour From Marrakech To Fes with an 8:00 AM departure. We travel through the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka Pass, stopping to admire the Berber villages blended into the mountainside. We arrive at the UNESCO World Heritage site of Ait Benhaddou Kasbah for a guided tour of this historic fortress. After lunch near Ouarzazate, the "Gateway to the Desert," we continue through the Skoura Oasis and the Valley of Roses. Finally, we reach the stunning Dades Valley for dinner and an overnight stay in a hotel.
Dades Valley – Todra Gorge – Merzouga (Erg Chebbi)
After breakfast, we drive to the majestic Todra Gorge, where 300m high cliffs create a narrow canyon perfect for a morning walk. We continue east, passing through the arid landscapes of Tinjdad and Erfoud (famous for fossils). In the afternoon, we arrive in Merzouga. Here, you will mount your camels for a trek into the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi to watch the sunset. The night is spent in a luxury desert camp, enjoying a traditional Berber dinner and drum music under the stars.
Merzouga – Ziz Valley – Midelt – Fes
Wake up early to witness a breathtaking sunrise over the Sahara. After breakfast and a shower at the camp, we begin the long drive north towards Fes. We travel through the immense Ziz Valley, famous for its millions of palm trees. We cross the Middle Atlas Mountains, stopping in Midelt for lunch. Later, we visit the Cedar Forest of Azrou to see the wild monkeys and pass through Ifrane ("Little Switzerland").
