Detailed Itinerary
Fes – Ifrane – Azrou – Midelt
Depart from Fes in the morning. We head south, stopping first in Ifrane, known for its alpine architecture. Next, we explore the cedar forests of Azrou to see the wild Barbary macaques. We continue through the Middle Atlas Mountains to the town of Midelt, known for its apple orchards and fossils. Overnight stay in a cozy hotel/riad in Midelt.
Midelt – Ziz Valley – Merzouga
After breakfast, we descend via the Ziz Valley, admiring the endless palm groves and gorges. We pass through Errachidia and Erfoud before arriving in Merzouga. Here, you will mount your camels for a trek into the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi to watch the sunset. Spend the night in a luxury desert camp with dinner and Berber music.
Merzouga – Todra Gorges – Dades Valley
Wake up early for a spectacular sunrise over the Sahara. After breakfast, we travel to Rissani to visit its traditional market. Then, we head to the Todra Gorges, a canyon with towering vertical walls. After a walk by the river, we continue to the Dades Valley, known for its "Monkey Toes" rock formations. Dinner and overnight in a hotel in Dades.
Dades Valley – Ait Ben Haddou – Marrakech
We travel through the Valley of Roses and Skoura to reach Ouarzazate. Visit the famous Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site. In the afternoon, we cross the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n'Tichka pass, arriving in Marrakech in the evening. Overnight in a Riad in Marrakech.
Explore Marrakech
Dedicate the final day to exploring the "Red City." Visit iconic landmarks such as the Koutoubia Mosque, Bahia Palace, and the Saadian Tombs. Wander through the vibrant Souks and experience the energy of Jemaa el-Fnaa square. The tour concludes here.
